Why Choose Wintegrity K9 Dog Training
Experienced Local and Remote Dog Trainer
Trainer Becca Hintz brings over 40 years of experience working with shelter dogs, companion dogs, sports dogs and families. Her calm, thoughtful approach helps dogs succeed without stress or confusion. Her business success is based on word of mouth referrals from dog owners, veterinarians, veterinary behaviorists, groomers, trainers, breeders, shelters and rescues. Becca has trained dogs in her backyard and as far away as Japan, (while she was in the US). Local and remote sessions focus on the same principles, individual training or behavior plans for each client to meet them were they are and help them get to where they want to go.
Positive Reinforcement Techniques
We use proven, positive reinforcement training methods based on the latest animal behavior science. Training is fair, clear, and supportive for both dogs and their humans. As a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner Becca pursues continuing education to both maintain her credentials and stay abreast of the latest scientific advances in behavior, learning theory and training. She is also a training partner with the UC Davis Veterinary Behavior Department. She works directly with the behavior team designing and implementing training plans with client. This ensures you and your dog are getting the best training and behavior work available.
Training That Builds Trust
Our work is built on connection and mutual respect. We believe dog training should strengthen your relationship and give you tools that last. The best feedback is “I got a new dog, I did what you taught me and I don’t need your help with what you taught us with our last dog!” I always love to hear “but now we want to learn more, so let’s plan some lessons so we can learn new things.” We empower dogs to make choices that work, for them and their families. Giving the dogs the ability to make good choices changes the conversation from micromanagement to partnership.
