About Becca

Becca Hintz, KPA‑CTP, is a professional dog trainer and behavior consultant based in Vacaville, California, known for her thoughtful, relationship-centered approach to training. She combines modern science-based methods with deep empathy for both dogs and their people.

Background and Experience

Becca began her journey in competitive dog sports, traveling internationally to train and compete with her Parson Russell Terrier, Vixon. When Vixon developed severe anxiety after a traumatic dog attack, Becca turned her focus to behavior modification, especially for fearful, reactive, or misunderstood dogs.

Her training career has spanned shelter and rescue work, owner education, and behavior rehabilitation. She regularly donates her time to animal shelters and rescues, helping dogs in high-stress environments find calm and clarity through enrichment and training.

Mission and Values

At the age of 25, a life-altering injury shifted Becca’s path. During her recovery, she discovered a calling to support people with disabilities, eventually expanding her work to include service dog training in partnership with clients.

Becca has experience with a wide variety of dog sports, including dock diving, barn hunt, obedience and agility. She began training dogs as a teenager and has a background in competitive dog conformation. She also has experience in horse training in three-day eventing and dressage.

Her business, Wintegrity K9, reflects her belief that clarity, kindness, and consistency are essential in dog training. Her philosophy is positive, but not permissive. She helps dogs thrive by setting boundaries with compassion and teaching people how to communicate effectively with their animals.
