Animal Community Alliance
The Animal Community Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting animal rescues and shelters throughout Solano County. Our mission is to improve the welfare of animals and strengthen the bond between pets and people through education, training, and hands-on community support.
We work alongside animal rescue groups, foster networks, and shelter teams to provide the resources and knowledge needed for better outcomes. By building strong partnerships, we help ensure animals find safe, loving homes while empowering community members to be confident, responsible pet guardians.
Our Work
Animal Community Alliance focuses on practical, sustainable solutions that benefit both animal welfare and public safety in Solano County:
- Education for rescues, shelters, and the public: We offer training on animal behavior, care, and welfare to help staff, volunteers, and adopters better understand and meet the needs of the animals in their care.
- On-site rescue and shelter support: Our team assists with daily animal care, enrichment, and adoption preparation, helping animals stay healthy and socialized while they await homes.
- Dog safety and bite prevention programs: We teach children and adults how to read dog body language and interact respectfully, reducing the risk of bites and strengthening human-animal relationships.
